Join Laughter Spark for an entertaining 90-minute taster comedy team building workshop, hosted by stand-up comedian and improv performer, James Crawley. This unique opportunity for Gloucestershire-based HR managers, business owners, and directors, is taking place on June 22nd 2023 at The Strand, Cheltenham and will be a part-networking, part-opportunity to find out exactly what your teams could expect from a similar team building session.
First up, you’ll be welcomed to the event with a free drink at the bar. Then take the opportunity to connect with other professionals, share experiences, and begin building new connections or catch-up with peers.
At 3:30 pm, the workshop will start up in The Strand function room.
Led by James Crawley, the workshop will kick off with interactive comedy improv warm-ups designed to get everyone smiling and energised. When it comes to corporate team building, we’re new on the scene here in Cheltenham. But as an experienced improv coach and stand-up comedian, James knows his stuff and wants to prove it to you!

Do we need prior comedy experience to participate?
Nope, prior comedy experience is not required to take part in this taster comedy team building workshop. This session is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for individuals of all experience and confidence levels. The focus is on giving you a hands-on taste of how this sort of session can encourage teamwork, communication, creativity, listening skills, and confidence through the power of laughter.
Is it suitable for all industries and team sizes?
While our comedy team building services are open to all, this taster session is only open to leaders who might be interested in providing their teams with comedy team building later down the line. This is an exclusive event with limited spaces only open to HR managers, business owners, CEOs and directors.
Can the activities be tailored to our team’s specific needs?
If we work together in future, yes, James is skilled at customising activities to suit team requirements.
